RESOURCE WATCH PARTNER

Ecosystem Services for Poverty Alleviation was a global interdisciplinary research program focused on better understanding how ecosystems function and how the services that they provide support or undermine efforts to alleviate poverty.

Funded by the UK Department for International Development (DFID), the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) and the Natural Environment Research Council (NERC), ESPA sought to provide decision-makers and natural resource users the insights and evidence they need to address the challenges of sustainable development.
