This index calculates the vulnerability of the fishing industries of coastal countries to climate change based on IPCC RCP 8.5. The data shown in this layer represents the vulnerability predicted for the time period of 2016-2050. RCP 8.5 is considered a “business-as-usual” scenario, which represents how the climate is predicted to change if we continue our current emissions trends.
